The next day, March 12, Rick took the granite to CDOT HQ at 905 Erie Avenue, Pueblo.
I met him there and we unloaded the rock. I borrowed the gas powered chop saw from Ferrin Wold's CDOT Bridge truck. This truck is set up nice with a lot of handy tools. It probably has more power tools than all the patrols in the Pueblo area combined.
Later the same day, Rick Perschbacher, Chad Wright, and Brian Thompson pour the slab for the memorial.
Chad is the CEO of the concrete operations. Smile Chad!
The finished pad. Note the planters are still there. HA!
We now have to let the slab cure for about a week.
While they were pouring the slab, I was putting together a corner planter.
